Autumn is in full swing now and when the sun comes out everything shines with a magical golden brown glow. I love autumn, even though I can feel that temperatures are dropping. We are less than a week away from the Riders of Rohan launch now and I’m still not finished with everything I wanted to do “before launch”. I spend too much time playing around in stead of doing important stuff like crafting and grinding! Ha!
The inspiration for this “cute” hobbit outfit came from my favorite hobbit girl outfitter Rosline. Rosline does not have her own hobbit outfit blog as far as I know, but really, she should have. Even if it were only to post the few outfits she makes because they are the cutest hobbit girl outfits I’ve ever seen. You can find most of her creativity within the forum thread “show us your favorite cosmetic outfit“, and I’ve pinned some of them to my Outfits from Everywhere Pinterest Board. She just makes outstanding hobbit outfits that really bring a smile to my face. Thank you Rosline for your inspirations!
Head: Woodruff’s Hat, crimson dye (quest reward, world drop light armour or lotro store)
Chest: Arth-crus, rust dye (BoE lvl 75 RoI instance cluster drop, light armour)
Hands: Gardening Gloves, crimson dye (farmers faire, cosmetic)
Legs: Dwarf-make Leather Leggings, burgundy dye (Thorin’s Hall medium armour vendor or crafted)
Back: Cook’s Pack, crimson dye (lotro store cosmetic)
Main-hand: Basket of Apples (Harvest festival item)
This is very much a cute outfit for this hobbit! Good to know you can get the Cook’s Pack from the skirmishes as well, cause I’ve got a hobbit who really wants her cooking supplies put away properly π I like the combination of Crimson and Rust Dye. It’s perfect for the autumn!
Sorry Choc, the cook’s pack is not a skirmish item. I forgot to change that in the post. Reason I got confused is because I won it in a lottery some time ago, so it’s not a store item in my inventory.
Ah, too bad. Oh well, when Sheherezi wants it really badly (granted,s he’s already been nagging me about it since she saw someone with it), she’ll have to work for it π
I agree that Rosline makes the cutest Hobbit-outfits! This picnic outfit is pretty cute too though! π
Great combination of items from all over the place, and I love the use of the apple basket (also The Hat)!
Thank you Starry! “The Hat” is obviously made for Hobbit girls only. π
I’m really starting to like the quality of “held” items being introduced into the game recently. This basket is another example. I really like it and I think it works really well with this cute outfit.
Thank you Devonna. Maybe those hand held items will one day be part of a cosmetic weapon system. Though I’m starting to thing that the chances of that happening are beginning to diminish with every passing year.
I’m liking a lot of the new hand items too, I just wish they could get things like this one to hang correctly. Also, that chest piece looks very similar to the one from the dwarf mannequin/TP store outfit. I really like it.
I don’t think I have ever seen that pack before. Cool!
Cute little hobbit indeed!
Too bad they can’t have facial hair, or I’d play one. BARUK KHAZAD!
Well if those dwarves would finally shave off their smelly beards I’d play one of those more seriously too!!
Oooh sweet holy taters! I’m so overwhelmed with happiness right now I barely know what to say! Its such an honour to be the inspiration to this cute outfit, she’s so adorable and cheerful! oh and I really really want a applepie now! ^_^
Thank you so much for all kind words it really means a lot!<3
And I guess I have no choice but to create a outfit-blog now, even my dear kin-friends are pushing me to make one! ^_^
Yeah Rosline’s little corner of cuteness! I’m looking forward to it already!! π
