Stablemaster

I’d love to be able to buy the pale horse with the dark brown saddle from the stablemaster in Galtrev. Unfortunately he won’t sell it to me. He owns quite a few of those horses, as I see them stabled all over Dunland, but for some reason, he probably thinks I am too much of a Duvodiad to entrust me with one of these beauties. I’ve tried to talk reason, done all sorts of menial tasks like carrying dozens of wood deliveries, I’ve handed over hundreds of broken maces and swords, but all to no avail. They refuse to reward me with one of those much desired Dunland steeds. Anyone know how to bribe the Stablemaster?

The Cel-crus chestpiece that has the funny puffy sleeves on female characters, looks quite different on males. The sleeves are straight, though I’ve covered up their red bracers with brown ones. This top is easy to combine with all kinds of leggings and dyes well in any colour (the female version is bugged and sticks to white). If you’re looking for “true white” leggings, the crafted Radiant Leggings are a good match.

If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up in the Lorebook, by typing its name into the search box. You can equip any piece of armour cosmetically through the wardrobe, even armour that is not meant for your class or level.

Head: Hood of Night, white dye (Halls of Night, cosmetic)
Chest : Cel-crus, white dye (Isengard instances level 75 boe drop, light)
Hands: Leather Bracers of the Gentle Stag, umber dye (Dunland quest reward, light)
Legs: Radiant Leggings, white dye (crafted Tier 5, light)
Feet
: Scout’s Weathered Leather Boots, umber dye (Dunland quest reward, medium)
Back: Snowy Hoodless Cloak, umber dye (Yule Festival, cosmetic)

  1. Awesome outfit! There are so few “old-school” Shadows of Angmar pieces that dye as crisp white as those pants, what a perfect combination. That new cloak looks really sharp in umber. Great job! 🙂

Absolutely love this outfit. It’s so simple and rustic and fits in perfectly with any landscape of LOTRO, in my opinion. Again, love it.

  3. The new cloak is gorgeous with the hood! Luckily i nabbed the hood the first time the currency system changed and i could get it! Will definately combine it with this cloak it’s lovely in that colour.
