After a great outfit spree during my December holidays and the wonderful experience of the Yule Outfit Contest, I’m going to take a step back from outfitting for a while and spend my time in Lotro levelling up some alts that are in dire need of my attention. My loremaster is almost 60 now, soon going to Lothlórien, and I really want to spend some more time actually playing the game in stead of always “standing in front of the mirror” (that’s what I call the dressing room function”). My minstrel is still collecting medallions and seals, doing quite a lot of group instances too, and I haven’t even finished Westfold tier crafting for her! So, still lots to do, which means my blogging activities are going to be toned down a bit.
Of course, if the mood strikes me I will post an outfit now and again. It all depends on inspiration. However I think that there are enough outfits on this blog, to get your own imagination going and outfit your character with something special and unique!
If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up in the Lorebook, by typing its name into the search box. You can equip any piece of armour cosmetically through the wardrobe, even armour that is not meant for your class or level.
Head: Urdhol-helm, umber dye (Isengard instances boe drop, light)
Chest : Rider’s Silken Shirt, Rivendell green dye (Men of Dunland reputation reward, light)
Shoulders: Pauldrons of the Wandering Bard, sienna dye (Ettenmoors barter, minstrel rank 3)
Hands: Fingerless Gloves, sienna dye (Yule Festival reward -helping the poor-, cosmetic)
Legs: Spearman’s Singed Leather Leggings, Rivendell green dye (Dunland quest reward, medium)
Feet: Threadbare Boots of the Dunland Healer, sienna dye (Dunland quest reward, light)
Well, I’m saddened to know I won’t be getting my semi-daily Cosmetic Lotro fix (as a newer reader I had just gotten comfortably used to it), but of course your decision is completely understandable. 🙂 Lord knows most of us have some neglected alts lying around. Besides, all creative minds need rest. *Looks at the manuscript she hasn’t touched for months.* …although I should no longer grant myself that luxury. 😀 Thanks again for the contest, and have fun! Maybe I’ll try to get a character to 50 (highest level toon is still 32).
I totally understand you Hymne, I’m taking these breaks myself quite often as you probably know 0:) Hope the inspiration will strike you more often than you think now! 🙂
Enjoy your time levelling, Hymne. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what new inspiration comes your way. 🙂
