Autumn song

A gentle rain falls softly on my weary eyes
As if to hide a lonely tear
My life will be forever autumn
’cause you’re not here…

~Justin Hayward

This Harvest Festival cloak was introduced in Autumn 2010. I have left the cloak in my storage chest ever since I got it because I find it really hard to combine with other clothes. The cloak has an ethereal transparent quality to it, while its base colours are solid orange/red and solid dark green. To make the combination work, I had to find an outfit that would reflect or combine with those colours and have the same kind of soft toned texture. I think the store exclusive Innkeeper’s Dress works very well for this purpose. The top is solid soft brown but the sleeves and skirt can be dyed in a semi transparent colour. I hardly ever see anyone walking around in this dress even though I think it’s truly lovely, especially if you’re looking for pastel or natural colours.

If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up in the Lorebook, by typing its name into the search box.

Chest : Innkeeper’s Dress, ranger green dye (Lotro store exclusive cosmetic)

Shoulders: Embroidered Mantle of the Dunland Healer, orange dye (Dunland quest reward, light)

Back: Cloak of the Falling Leaves, gold dye (Harvest Festival cosmetic)

        >>>meant to be enjoyed, whether just by looking at them on this blog or using them on your own character

        Thank you VERY much!

  1. Oh wow! I envy your graphics. I’d never noticed the subtle pattern on that dress before. I have it equipped on one of my characters with, I think, the summer traveling cloak.
