Cosmetic Lotro

Apprentice

Even though I feel it’s high time for another heavy armour outfit on my blog, the Harvest Festival cosmetics seem to inspire me otherwise.  On top of that I am currently levelling a loremaster (not this one, but a female) and the theme of mystery and lore matches this time of year very well. So I’m sticking to robes and dresses this week!

The orb in these screenshots is the Seer’s Orb. A housing item that you receive as a reward for epic Vol. III book 4. It swirls and changes colour from blue to green. In my opinion a must have for all lore lovers!

If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up in the Lorebook, by typing its name into the search box. You can equip any piece of armour cosmetically through the wardrobe, even armour that is not meant for your class or level.

Head: Winged Circlet, purple dye (skirmish barter cosmetic)

Chest : Lawgiver’s Robe, purple dye (lotro store exclusive cosmetic)

Shoulders: Elven Steel Shoulder Pads, purple dye (Rivendell armour smith, heavy)

Hands: Isengard Prisoner Gloves, purple dye (Epic Vol. III, Book 4 reward, cosmetic)

Feet: Threadbare Shoes of the Dunland Healer, purple dye (Dunland quest reward, light)

Back: Cloak of the Raven, purple dye (Harvest Festival cosmetic)

    Ooooh, purple .:D Nice outfit.

My LM wears the cloak with its matching hood as part of his ‘Formal Ninja-Wear’ outfit. 🙂 I suspect if he dyed it purple, he’d be a bit more noticeable 😀

What if I want to use this outfit for my Rune-Keeper? I cannot equip the shoulder pads. Does anyone know what a good replacement would be?

    • If you do not have the Wardrobe then your cosmetic choices are restricted to Light Armour and Cosmetic items. Go to Rivendell and find the Marketplace. There are 2 Light Armour Vendors there. They have similar shoulder pads that would suffice for this outfit.

Already tried them they don’t fit well because they are not made out of steel. I’ll try to look around for more options tho
