Galadhrim Warden

The Wardens of Lórien were elven patrols that operated in small groups. They defended the borders of the Golden Wood against the forces of Moria and Dol Guldur.

This outfit took a while to come together. It has gone through many adaptations and colours, until I finally settled on this one. In terms of lore I am not sure where it fits, but then that is an issue with many if not most outfits and armour pieces. Lothlórien wardens would most likely wear something grey and hooded, but my blog would soon become very boring if I were to stick to those descriptions only, so my elf is wearing something a bit more garish.

Head: Helm of the Lady’s Favour, dark mossy green dye (Dâr Narbugud Warden/Beorning armour)
Shoulders: Pauldrons of the Reclaimed City, dark mossy green dye (reward quest [105] The Fallen King Renewed)
Chest: Expeditionary’s Reinforced Chestplate, dark mossy green dye (reward quest [107] What Was Spoken and What Revealed)
Hands: Gauntlets of the Silent Watcher, dark mossy green dye (reward quest [105] Through the Gardens of Gondor)
Feet: Berserker’s Boots, dark mossy green dye (champion trainer at Ost Galadh)
Weapon: Angolgrist (reward quest [68] Stronger Competition)
Shield: Cam en-Elbereth (drop from Carn Dum)

  1. Such an unexpected, yet elegant color combination and appearance! It’s amazing how you’ve combined pieces from unrelated sources like this to create such a unique outfit 🙂
