So I finally made it to 5 Halls of Night marks. The champion in my group linked me all the nice shiny jewels that I could buy for it. “Look this one is an upgrade for your outgoing healing!” he said. I didn’t have the guts to tell him that I was not about to purchase that ring, but that my heart was set on getting either the shroud or the hood. I decided on the hood, because it will probably find more uses than the shroud, which is very cool, but cannot be dyed. I have never seen a piece of armour so very white in game! In the preview pane it doesn’t look nearly as white as it really is. It is true, pure white and it dyes the same way that the Elf Queen’s Dress dyes, with a tiny speckle of very subtle washed colouring. I wanted to use the white quality of the hood so I had to find items that would at least sort of come close to that kind of white. The result is an Elven Huntress outfit.
Chest: Elven Leather Jacket, purple dye (medium armour smith Rivendell)
Head: Hood of Night, white dye (Halls of Night cosmetic)
Shoulders: Shoulders of the Westfold, default dye (Isengard pre-order cosmetic)
Hands: Gloves of the Vicious Proclamation, white dye (Evendim barter reward Runekeeper)
Legs: Elven Leather Leggings, purple dye (medium armour smith Rivendell)
Feet: Boots of the West-tower, white dye (Annúminas barter)
Back: Elegant Elven Quiver, purple dye (Anniversary cosmetic and store)
Cosmetic Lotro 
Love this outfit!! The purple and white look very pretty! Only not sure about the brown back of the boots.
Not sure about the boots either, but they are most certainly the best I have. The Elven Leather Boots don’t dye nearly as white as these ones, and since the leggings also carry a brown strap the combination is not too awkward.

Beautiful! Very nice use of violet, and the white is so wonderfully bright. Are the Halls of Night rewards bound to account? If not, I know what I’ll be asking my husband to get for me 🙂
Unfortunately both cosmetics from HoN are Bind on Acquire. This is very odd, since all other cosmetic items at the Skirmish barters, including the Annuminas and Rift cosmetics, are Bind on Equip. But you can run HoN with two lvl65 at the lowest level (40). Maybe you could even solo, but I haven’t tried that 🙂
you can solo HoN at lvl 40 just fine – with just about any class i think. only tried it on my lm and champ and it was easy enough. and they are sadly boa to make ppl grind more i guess. really love this outfit combination – its really very pretty and well done! 🙂
Any ideas on gloves that are and may dye similarly? Think this is a great outfit, but the gloves are key in my mind.
Hi Echengloss, gauntlets that dye solid white are really hard to find in this game. The only ones I came across are Lindir’s gauntlets, a level 31 quest reward, and the Gloves of the Vicious Proclamation which are Runekeeper only. None of the vendor or crafted gloves that I know of have this property. You can try the Elven Cotton gloves (T3 crafted), but those are short gloves, not gauntlets.

I ran the riddle quests this morning and got the gauntlets. They fit well, though not quite as white as the ones you used. The pattern is more square as well.
Looks good so far, now just have to run HoN again. Thanks for the suggestion.
Is there any similar item to the shoulders. Didn’t purchase the preorder.
I’m sorry Elfiriel but there’s nothing similar to these. There are several wrap around shoulder pieces in the game but they not exactly resemble this design. Pre-order items are usually quite unique. 😦
