Of all races and characters I find dwarves the hardest to outfit. Their plump and awkward bodies do not seem very well suited to the average armour design. I haven’t posted many dwarf outfits yet, so I gave myself the challenge to come up with a battle ready dwarf armour, something that looks sturdy enough for the battlefield, yet doesn’t make my dwarf look like a sausage with a plate skirt. Fortunately the new Isengard armour pieces came to the rescue. A few of those designs are actually very usable on a dwarf. I combined it with a Rift cosmetic helmet (available at the skirmish camp) to complete the look.

The appearance of the cloak is also available as a crafted T7 item.
The chest piece, gloves and boots are now also available from the auction house as a level 75 item, as they drop from the new Isengard instances. I chose to exchange some of my bound quest rewards for these boe drops, as I can store those on an alt in stead of having them taking up space in my main character’s vault.

If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up in the Lorebook, by typing its name into the search box. You can equip any piece of armour cosmetically through the wardrobe, even armour that is not meant for your class or level.
