My favorite blog and podcast Casual Stroll to Mordor has been conducting a very special ingame fundraising event over the past weeks: The Fellowship Walk. The Fellowship Walk is an online fundraising event for Child’s Play Charity, an organization providing toys and games to children in hospitals in the United States.
On the traces of Frodo and his friends, the fellowship on the Landroval server walks from Bag End up to Rivendell, and maybe beyond. For every donation made to Child’s Play, the Fellowship will take one step further towards the healing house of Elrond.
The Fellowship Walk is almost over, and they are making one last big effort to reach their goal raising $ 5.000. I cannot join them on their server during the hours of the walk, but I do join them in intention and spirit (and a donation of course), so from the remote place of my little blog I am urging all cosmetics fans to join them in the journey, donate now and make one last united effort to help the Fellowship make it to Rivendell this week!
If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up in the Lorebook, by typing its name into the search box.

Thank you Hymne! Next year I should have you design my walking outfit!
It would be my honour! Without shoes of course. 🙂
What emote is the Hobbit-gentleman using in the last frame, where he has two thumbs up like the Fonz?
Hello Moraiwë, it’s the Hobbit /cheer emote. Only hobbits do the thumbs up, not the other races.
Thank you! I already knew the Hobbit /giggle, /laugh, and /chuckle were the best, thanks to having a number of Hobbit alts. I love it when the devs put in these little extra touches — not strictly necessary to gameplay, but things that make us smile, like Farmer Sandson’s chicken Billina or the whole Ronald Dwale quest chain.
