Westfold leatherworking [beta outfit]

[SPOILER ALERT: this post contains screenshots from the Rise of Isengard beta]

The Westfold crafted sets all share the same base characteristics: the chest piece is long and the shoulders have fur. Even though the medium chest piece in this outfit looks shorter than the light robe, it still makes any leggings that you wear invisible. Of course there are crafted Westfold leggings too, but they are nothing special and very much resemble the current cotton leggings in the game. All Westfold shoulders are decorated with fur though the medium shoulders have a slightly different curve than the light version.
The cloak in this outfit is a teal crafted item. The recipe requires Dunland reputation to execute but the cloak does not require reputation to wear. However the whole reputation issue is obsolete where the wardrobe is concerned as all requirements are lifted, including reputation and class requirements. At least that’s how it is in beta.

And just to prove that I am not merely fooling around playing dress-up but actually making myself useful reporting bugs in the beta, I thought I’d share a funny one:

Chest: Seared Coat of Triumph, gold dye (T7 crafted, medium)

Shoulders: Westfold Skirmish Pauldrons, gold dye (T7 crafted, medium)

Hands: Westfold Campaign Gloves, gold dye (T7 crafted, light)

Feet: Brushed Campaign Shoes, gold dye (T7 crafted, light)

Back: Ranger’s Cloak of Théodred, black dye (T7 Rohirrim crafted, light)

  1. you make wonderful raspberry bush, hymne! ;D just kidding – the outfit is interesting and if the chestpiece dyes well, i can already imagine number of uses for it 🙂

Oh lord, the Raspberries! I remember submitting so many bugs about stuff like that – floating honey, bushes, ore nodes… ore nodes stuck entirely in another rock or a tree… floating corpses. Gravity is fun! 😀

I like the boots and cloak on this one, and again that pretty shiny belt makes an appearance. It must be the ‘signature’ part of the armour for this tier. 🙂 I’m not so hot on the robe though. It kinda looks like a bad quilt. 🙂
