I always feel a bit of reluctance when it comes to male elves. While I love the male elf NPC’s in the game, the male elf player avatars just look odd. Their feet are way too small compared to the rest of their body and their standard pose reminds me of a ballerina in the first ballet position. When they walk around their posture looks a bit better. I really wish the devs would do something about the static pose, but I know I’m not the only one who’s been asking for that for a long time and that it’s not likely to happen.
Nevertheless I don’t want to be guilty of completely ignoring the male elves, so I made mine walk around a bit in a new outfit.
Chest: Leather Jacket of Vigour, olive dye (world drop)
Shoulders: Shoulders of the Seven Stars, default dye (Annúminas barter)
Hands: Leather Gauntlets, olive dye (medium armour smith)
Legs: Leather Leggings of Might, olive dye (world drop)
Feet: Westernesse Protector’s Boots, ranger green dye (crafted)
Back: Cloak of the Vigilance, default dye (store)
this is a beautiful and very interesting outfit! the chestpiece almost makes the elf look manly 😉
I totally agree with you about the body of male elves. But now I found out that my male rune keeper looks really good when dressed in one of the new Isengard cosmetics (without shoulders and cloak). Now it’s the first time I like to take that permanent look at his back side while playing him 🙂
Wonderful outfit! I love those colors for an elf, and I agree that the chest piece helps up the manliness factor.
