Invoke the elements

gathering the clouds

breathe deep

All things are made up of four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Everything that has substance has earth in it; everything that has energy has fire; everything that flows or has feelings has water, and lastly everything that involves sound or communication has air. These are fundamental pagan and indigenous principles, that have deep universal roots in cultures all over the world. The elements can be found in many forms throughout Middle-earth, and in virtual Middle-earth the Rune-keeper calls upon these elements to lend power to his skills.

Yeah I know. It’s a rune-keeper in a lore-master robe. Thank you wardrobe. Looks good on him though, but I should get him or my elf rune-keeper their own Moria class robe. Really. But I admit, I have a hard time finding the inspiration to play a rune-keeper, and so my elf is still standing at the gates of Moria without any progress for at least a year. Truth is, I really enjoy playing my lore-master, and my minstrel, and my burglar, and my champion, and my hunter, and my captain and… well, anything except rune-keeper. What is it between me and my rune-keepers that just doesn’t seem to click? I’ve come to the conclusion that it must be because of their squishy armour. Lore-master robes are just much better quality.

  1. I like this outfit very much. It’s very dwarf fitting 🙂 I don’t know about Runekeepers, since I don’t have one…. I know too little about them now, but I like the outfit very much!

  2. Wow, fantastic! What an unexpected combination! I find that cloak so awkward (same with the robe) and together they look amazing. The oddly coloured Isengard shoulders just blend in beautifully too. Really nice!

  3. The wardrobe is just one of those amazing things that anyone who loves outfitting should consider getting. I couldn’t live without mine. Your “loremaster robe” looks amazing on your rune-keeper 🙂

I love my rune-keeper. I think you have to get good at kiting things around when you solo but because just about all of their heals and lightning type skills can be cast on the run kiting is easy. Another thing I really miss on my RK when I play my mini is the group wide bubble. OMG I LOVE my group bubble 🙂

    • Thank you Devonna! Kiting huh? That’s the kind of thing you do when you have no crowd control skills or they’re all on cooldown ha ha. I guess that is exactly where my problem is. I’m so used to fearing, mezzing, sleeping or rooting just about anything that kiting isn’t really in my vocabulary. I’ll give it a try 🙂
