Yes, I made another dwarf outfit! I’m still getting used to dressing up a dwarf, and every now and again I even play with him (uhm… does killing two wolves and two goblins that get in my way when I want to take a screenshot count as playing?). I will level him a lot higher in the future, but I cannot play all my alt characters at once! I have 13 characters total, and I am focusing on leveling my lore-master and burglar for now. I’m beginning to like my dwarf a lot but his body remains awkward and difficult to dress. It’s a real challenge trying to find something that is tasteful and original, while at the same time not being totally unbecoming. The chest piece in this outfit has had me intrigued ever since I saw it at the armour vendor in Thorin’s Hall years ago. I never quite knew how to use it, or how to combine it successfully. The sleeves have a sienna base colour that cannot be changed, so you have to integrate that into the overall colour scheme. It was a nice challenge to make it work and it’s absolutely meant to be worn by a dwarf.
If you like dwarves you should visit the Heirs of Durin blog. The blog has a lot of information about the upcoming movie The Hobbit with bits and pieces of trivia and real lore about the dwarves in that movie. Also, many things Lotro related can be found there.
If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up on Lotro Wiki, by typing its name into the search box. You can equip any piece of armour cosmetically through the wardrobe, even armour that is not meant for your class or level.

Very nice looking Dwarf outfit! I love how you’ve worked his beard into the overall colour scheme. That’s one thing thing I have come to realize really helps with Dwarf outfits.

Wow! I’ve seen very few dwarves better color-coordinated, or fierce, than this! That helmet is perfect. For someone who is only just getting into their dwarf, you’ve really got “the look” down. And thanks for the mention!
