In the days before the War of the Ring, when Isengard was in friendly or at least neutral hands, the river Isen formed an effective barrier between the Westfold and the lands of the Dunlendings, the hereditary foes of Rohan. But with the treachery of Saruman, Isengard rendered the whole river useless as a strategic frontier.
Théodred the marshal of the west-mark; Erkenbrand the lord of Westfold, and Grimbold his marshal, were all determined by tradition to defend the old frontier come what may. In this they were no doubt mistaken: for Saruman’s army of Orcs, Uruk-hai and Dunlendings was far too powerful for the west-mark to handle alone.
After a long weekend of participating in the Spring Festival festivities, I changed pace a little to work on some outfits. With the beautiful Ceremonial Rift gear that is available now, there is enough new stuff available to keep me interested for a while. I originally created this outfit for an elf female character, using the Scout’s Weathered Leather Jacket from Dunland dyed grey (in stead of the Trill-seekers Jacket), but I switched over to a male character later on and remain undecided which outfit I like better. I used a mix of Rift gear from various classes, omitting the cloak as the backside of this chest piece is nice enough.

If you want to know where a certain armour piece or cosmetic comes from, you can look it up on Lotro Wiki, by typing its name into the search box. You can equip any piece of armour cosmetically through the wardrobe, even armour that is not meant for your class or level.

Hi Adster, I’m sorry but I’m not a big fan of that cloak. If I ever do get inspired I’ll try to make an outfit for it, but don’t hold your breath! 😀

I’ve got male toons although I’m a woman. Most of the time I’d rather see a “dream” male toon instead of a woman. AND I’ve known several male rpg players that have female characters… I’m sure they’d rather see a sexy female while playing lol :D.

Curled toe shoes: crafted Tier 6 Light “Rock-climber’s shoes” and in different colours the “Lothlorien shoes”. The Lothlorien design can also be found on the Moria Minstrel/RK/LM class barters. Any Elvish design boots have curled toes as well, but you need shoes it seems. Best and most beautiful curled toe shoes are from the Burglar Lothlorien set (Lady’s Secrecy / Dungeon Crawler’s), only available if you have a Burglar with access to either DN raid or the class barter in Mirkwood Ost Galadh. The Loremaster Lothlorien set also has shoes in stead of boots.

Nice cosmetics you post here. I would like to know how do you take some nice screenshots so close of the character.. Do you have a way to enter another character and zoom the camera into it? It’s like that or its a different thing? I’m asking because I do love to take screenshots too, of outfits, places and landscapes. Thanks and continue with your good work 🙂
