The journey through the lands of Umbar and Harad has provided me with a number of new cosmetic options in the form of quest rewards, crafted armour, instance rewards and even some interesting cosmetic rewards. However some of the old world cosmetics and armour pieces are timeless and can also work quite well for an Umbari outfit.

The long skirt (legs) is part of a set available from quests in Dunland under various names. It doesn’t take dye very well, so dark colours are its best option. An older cosmetic shirt with a pretty design and Kinta Shoulder-pads and Cuffs (either a quest reward in Harad or crafted by a Tailor) to finish off this combination.

The shirt is a good match to this long skirt and is available at Lalia’s Market from a mannequin (rotational) or from a dummy at the Chest-vendor booth. Mannequins are a very old concept implemented to offer cosmetic designs on a schedule. I believe each outfit appears on a mannequin once a year (give or take). Common items that can easily be acquired elsewhere in-game are used most of the time, but sometimes you can find real treasures on the mannequins that are hard to get or cannot be obtained at all anymore.
Regrettably we have now had the same cosmetic ensembles since 2013 on rotation without ever an update, which is truly a shame. I whish SSG would put some new selections on the Mannequins, for example by creating outfits with items from old Raid armour-sets or obsolete PvMP rewards.

This girl may or may not have family ties to what we have come to know as “Hobbits”. I don’t know what her ancestry is, but she is now here in Umbar reading her runes and trying to figure out where to go next.
